We provide up to 30 hours of paid training before Interventionists begin working on their own with clients. To ensure that all Interventionists meet our high performance standards, trainees pass a written examination and undergo direct observation from a supervisor prior to working with clients on their own
We provide regularly scheduled trainings, workshops, and individualized training throughout employment at BTC
BTC is dedicated to providing training and supervision for those interested in obtaining certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA) and/or Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst® (BCABA) as
outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
Job Description
- Implements ABA based intervention with the client
- Inputs data in data book
- Demonstrate intervention skills at weekly/monthly staff meetings
- Assist with the implementation of instruction in accordance with a specific student's behavior support plan, in cooperation with their supervisor or classroom teacher
- Maintain positive communication and a professional demeanor with colleagues, students, parents/guardians, and infoistrators
- Complete instructional-related duties as assigned by their supervisor or clinical directors
- Implements ABA based intervention with the client
- Implement behavioral protocols/assignments for students during instructional and non-instructional times
- Utilize instructional and non-instructional times in a professional manner in keeping with infoistrative guidelines
- Maintain confidentiality of students
- Successfully complete training and/or college coursework as required by infoistration
- Participate in and contribute to in-service training and staff meetings in a professional and collegial manner
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or near completion of undergraduate education with a major in Psychology, Education, or a related field
- Experience working with typically developing children or children with developmental delays
- Reliable transportation and valid auto insurance
- Department of Justice clearance
- Clean TB test
- At least 18 years of age
