Welcome

Welcome
In 1997 Wayne Tashjian established Behavior Therapy Clinic (BTC) as a private agency that serves children of all ages with Autism Spectrum Disorders and Pervasive Developmental Disabilities. Applying the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), we’ve developed individualized treatment programs for the home, school, and community settings.
BTC holds a Nonpublic Agency Certification from the California Department of Education as well as a vendor contract with the California Regional Centers. BTC has worked collaboratively with public schools, including the Los Angeles Unified School District, Culver City Unified School District, Glendale Unified School District, Burbank Unified School District and numerous private and religious schools.
BTC provides direct services for children and their families in the Los Angeles area (South Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley and the Westside). We are also available for consultation outside of the Los Angeles area.
BTC is available for private consultation and treatment as well. BTC is a preferred provider for the major and smaller Insurance carriers, and numerous private and religious schools.

Our Approach
We believe every child who walks through our doors is a unique individual, each with their own set of strengths and challenges. No matter where a child might fall on the Autism spectrum, our work uncovers exactly how to connect with your child and design an individualized treatment program that significantly improves their life. To accomplish this, each program is overseen by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
Currently BTC offers services in the following areas:
-
Functional Behavior Assessments
-
Early Intervention
-
Discrete Trial Teaching
-
Intensive ABA Intervention
