Additional Information
We provide up to 40 hours of paid training before Interventionists begin working on their own with clients. To ensure that all Interventionists meet our high performance standards, trainees pass a written examination and undergo direct observation from a supervisor prior to working with clients on their own.
We provide regularly scheduled trainings, workshops, and individualized training throughout employment at BTC.

Behavior Analyst Certification Board
BTC is dedicated to providing training and supervision for those interested in obtaining certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA) and/or Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst® (BCABA) as outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
Job Description
-
Implement ABA based intervention with the client
-
Input data in data book
-
Demonstrate intervention skills at weekly/monthly staff meetings
-
Assist with the implementation of instruction in accordance with a specific student's behavior support plan, in cooperation with their supervisor or classroom teacher
-
Maintain positive communication and a professional demeanor with colleagues, students, parents/guardians, and teachers.

Complete instructional-related duties as assigned by their supervisor or clinical directors
-
Implement ABA based intervention with the client
-
Implement behavioral protocols/assignments for students during instructional and non-instructional times
-
Utilize instructional and non-instructional times in a professional manner in keeping with administrative guidelines
-
Maintain confidentiality of students
-
Successfully complete training and/or college coursework as required by administration
-
Participate in and contribute to in-service training and staff meetings in a professional and collegial manner
-
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Job Requirements -
Bachelor's degree or near completion of undergraduate education with a major in Psychology, Education, or a related field

Minimum of 1 year Applied Behavior Analysis experience working with children with autism or other developmentally delaying disorders is required.

Reliable transportation and valid auto insurance

Job Description

Supervise ABA programs in the home and school settings

Develop ABA programs to reduce problem behaviors and teach functional skills

Organize and maintain data collection for programs

Review data and write progress reports

Establish and maintain positive relations with families and school personnel

Train and review staff

Parent / teacher consultation regarding skill development and problem behaviors
Qualifications
Education -
BCBA Certification required
-
Master's or Doctoral degree, preferably in special education, applied behavior analysis, or psychology
-
Completion of coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis at the university level
Experience -
Minimum of 1 year experience supervising ABA programs
-
Minimum of 2 years working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis
-
Skilled in ABA and DTT programming
-
Experience conducting skill acquisition, as well as functional assessments
-
Develop and implement positive behavior plans & strategies
-
Strong communication and writing skills
-
Strong leadership and managerial skills
-
Good organizational skills
-
Ability to manage time effectively

Starting salaries are competitive and vary depending on experience
